Writing an article is not only a way to showcase your hold over a language but also a way to open new avenues to a larger crowd, addressing plausible problems and issues.
Article writing is concerned with having knowledge of grammar and to write content which would address important issues. It used to be a lot simpler to roll out content which as uninformative and repetitive – or posting the plagiarized content once upon a time when search engines had not evolved to such an extent that each and every link featured on its page to show us which content was original and which is not.
Therefore, through this article we would like to provide killers tips for writers to create a line of helpful articles which would fetch them instant recognition.

Given below are tips for writers
1 — Keep the instructions of the client in mind while writing the article. The client’s requirements with the number of words and keywords must be essentially noted.
2 — If it is an article on current affairs, then one must give a proper introduction leading up the particular event – where it happened and how. The outline for an article in a newspaper is extremely different from that of an article seen on a website – therefore, it is important to keep in mind that one must give a proper date, heading and a proper title.
3 — Articles should be divided into paragraphs. This makes the article look better and makes it easier to read.
4 — If and when needed, images could be included within the content of the article – especially in case of medical articles or articles that need an explanatory diagram to back up the content.
5 — Articles with definite paragraphs should have definite sub headings – this helps the reader to understand the division of each paragraph.
6 — Articles should be concise and short in length. It must not be too long – as the reader might not take interest in reading a very long article. Repetition and over emphasis upon a point must also be avoided.
7 — If you have taken from a particular book or website, giving references would be necessary. Though in case of most articles today, mentioning references are not allowed. Therefore, it is necessary to run this by your client before you proceed – whether or not to give references in your article.
8 — Paying attention to the spellings and also to the grammar is a necessity. Also, while writing, most of us tend to go overboard with the emphasis on a particular topic and often deviate from the main point of concern – this causes the structure of your writing to fall apart and make your article a weak one. Therefore, it is advised to avoid any kind of deviations.
9 — Always do a good research before writing an article. It is important to go through several links available online or to have a good knowledge about the particular title you are working on – as this would contribute to the content of your article, making it richer and more original.
10 — Though, it is important to go through links speaking about a topic you may be working on, only derive from it but never take up lines from them.
11 — You must pay attention to the length of your content since search engines tend to ignore pages which have less than 250 words and thus, you must keep the balance intact. Nonetheless, it is about not using repetitive words and also not makes it too short in length.
12 — Content linking is important. You should add internal and external links in your article that are related to the content.
13 — The title of the article should be self-explanatory. It must give an insight into the content of the article – making it easier for the reader to find the article online.
14 — Give a good introduction to the title – so that the reader has a clearer idea about what to expect in the body of the article.
15 — Know your audience if an article is addressed to a particular audience. For example, a medical article cannot have the wrong choice of impersonal words since it is speaking about a delicate matter.
16 — Always proof read and edit the article once you are done writing – this helps in fixing the errors in spelling and grammar.
17 — The questions who, why, where, when, what and how must be asked while writing an article. This helps you to write with a clearer perspective of what is right and what is wrong. It clears out the perception of things and this clarity makes your article a well-described one.
18 — Do not use copyrighted content in your article.
Thus, we see how keeping these few points in mind can help one write a flawless article which would appear professional and would be well received. You can read more daily writing tips here.

Hi Bashir,
Lovely post indeed 🙂
Being a writer myself, I really don’t know what more to add to your list as you’ve said it all so well here. Yes, content IS king and I think that will always remain so. What matters most is that you write whatever you do in your own words after you research the matter online, if need be, which I feel every writer or even blogger should, so that what you share with your readers is authentic stuff that works. After all, the aim of every writer should be to provide useful information and help others – foremost. Everything else comes later.
Proper title, paragrapgh breaks, headlines, sub-heads, grammar and spelling check, having an intro and an end, editing and proofreading are ALL essentials. Besides, as you mentioned, images play a major role because anything visual has a greater impact as compared to written text, so you should take care of that too. Google too nowadays recommends longer posts, so you should aim at giving your readers wholesome content, though explained in a natural and easy way so that anyone can understand it. Use simple words and langauge and break your sentences in smaller parts because people online have short attention spans, and if you want them to carry on reading your content, you need to make attempts for that.
Thanks for sharing, and congratulations on adding CommentLuv on your blog. Have a nice week ahead 🙂

Hi,
Articles should be divided into paragraphs is it enough? or I make some bulletin points to attract more visitors? Your article inspiring me to write more articles. Tip no 18 is very important for every blogger isn’t it?
Both points are very important. Article should be divided into paragraphs and you can use the bulletin points.
Yeah after the recent Panda and penguin update every blog should write only unique content and avoid copyrigted content.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comment!
Of all the points you elaborated, I like the point you raised with respect to proof reading. That is of course really great.
We as humans sometimes do make some little little mistakes which do occur as a result of not going over what we’ve written.
I’m glad you liked the proof reading point.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comment.
Hi Mr. Bashir!
I think you should also add “visuals”, and graphs to the content to help make your point come across to the readers. Just pure written content is not enough to give the right image you have in your mind, and pass it on to others.
In other words, Everybody loves looking at pretty pictures!
