Do you do your work from home? Spend all day on the blogosphere? Or maybe you just know someone who does? Whether you’re looking to kit yourself out with everything you need to work at home or looking for a gift, you can find the answers here. There are a few things that every blogger or home worker needs to keep themselves sane whilst spending all day cooped up. Hopefully, this list can help you with a few ideas of your own, too.

Snacks
The temptation is always there. You might be working, but that won’t stop you from rooting in the kitchen. It’s part craving and part distraction and it can take you forever. If you get yourself a delicious, healthy snack, however, you’re cutting that problem right down to size. Getting yourself set up with your five a day is the best idea and there are some mighty tasty ways you can go about it, too.
Coffee
You can’t beat a good cup of Joe. So you better not be settling for that instant stuff that tastes like a whole lot of nothing. If you’re a coffeephile, then you need to kit yourself out properly. You could, for instance, make a DIY coffee station right in your own kitchen. Or you could really splash out and get espresso machines fitted right into your kitchen. Good not just for those insatiable cravings but for guests, as well.

Take care of your eyes
Most work from home is done by spending all day in front of the computer screen. You probably don’t need me to tell you about the risk of eyestrain and headaches this can cause. There are glasses you can get, however, that are like sunglasses but specially adapted to computer screens. You might look a sci-fi reject character, but you’ll be able to do your work without worry of your eyeballs popping out any time soon.

Have a seat
Lower back and shoulder pain are another common problem of sitting in front of your computer for ages. Set yourself up with a chair that fits the two criteria: comfy and ergonomic. Support yourself while you’re sitting to seriously diminish the stresses on your posture. Your back will be thanking you for it.

Exercise without getting up
Part health practice, part distraction. Kitting your desk out with little exercises can give you something to do while you take a quick breather from your work, as we all need to do from time to time. Powerballs have the appeal of a stress ball, working off the pent-up energy, at the same time building strength in your arms. Now you can tap away on the keyboard with even more vigour!

Breathe in the air
Sitting in one room all day is the easiest way to suffer from air pollution. This makes it a lot easier to get sick and exacerbates issues like asthma or other breathing-related ailments. Get an air purifier for your home office or bedroom and breathe a little easier about your work.
